The Patrol Officer performs police patrol, investigations, traffic regulation, and related community policing activities within our city of approximately 5,500 people. The CFPD’s mission is to improve the life, safety, and health of all who live, visit, or pass through our city and is dedicated to proactive policing methods to ensure we meet these standards. The Police Department currently has twelve sworn officers including the Chief, two Sergeants, two Detectives, School Resource Officer, and six Patrolmen. Starting wage is $26.78 per hour with annual step increases, additional stipends and room for advancement per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
